Jungle Way is based inland close to a traditional Thai village on Koh Chang Island. We encourage our guests to purchase locally produced goods and services. As we ourselves are a small business, we like to promote locally owned and operated businesses, as we feel the development of large chain stores on the island, and around Thailand, is destructive to local communities and traditional values. Jungle Way promotes water conservation. We do this by storing water in large tanks and having traditional Thai-style bucket showers and non-flushing toilets. We ask our guests to also try and conserve water. It might seem clichéd, but Jungle Way adopts the policy of “leave only your footprints.” We ask our guests to follow this during treks and wherever they are in the National Park.
