Simona Granta

NATIONALITY: Italian
DOB: 17/04/1968
PHONE: 086 998 7562

Simona's interest in alternative therapies began in 1997, while travelling through South East Asia. In Thailand she took her first Thai Massage Course in Chiang Mai, which complemented her personal yoga practice and meditation.

Simona has been doing Transcendental Meditation since 1990. She started practicing Thai Massage in Ireland, where she lived for a number of years, and worked as a therapist in different centres in Dublin.
In 1999, back in Thailand, she took Thai Massage courses at Wat Pho (beginner and advanced).

In Dublin Simona took her Reiki I course in 2001, and in 2002 decided to open her own Healing Centre (Dynamics). She then completed all Reiki levels to Master degree. During the first year the centre was open, she took an ITEC course in Full Body Massage and in 2003 travelled back to Thailand to take a Thai Massage Teacher Training Course at ITM, Chiang Mai.

Dynamics started as a small business for Simona and for her clients; it became the only Thai Massage School in Ireland and therapists also started to rent rooms for their own practice. In 2004 she was managing a business of 10 therapists. Always in need of yoga teachers, she took an Ashtanga teacher training course in Edinburgh in December 2004. In 2005 Simona also completed an anatomy, physiology and full body massage teacher training. During the time she managed and worked at Dynamics, and also took part in Health fairs around Ireland and promoted alternative therapies in open days in companies, hospitals and health shows.

In 2005 Simona taught yoga at Dynamics as well as in companies in the Dublin Area.

Last October, as Dynamics lease was over, Simona decided to close the Centre and move to Asia.

Simona recently spent 5 months in India where she completed a Hatha Yoga teacher training course and where she has been teaching anatomy to yoga students and also yoga classes.

Simona currently lives in Thailand.
